What Happens in a Session?

An initial session lasts about 1.5 hours and costs £50.00

History is taken about your horse & other information is gathered from the owner/carer.

Introducing and connecting with your horse to gain some initial trust is a really important part of the session.

An assessment on your horse both Stationary and Dynamic is done with you & discussed.

I will then identify through palpation any tension in the soft tissues and use the appropriate techniques to reduce the held tension and restrictions.

Working with Massage, Myofascial Release, NFC -neuro-fascial conditioning tool , Craniosacral, Stress Point Release, Meridian line Therapy plus Red light Therapy, Therapeutic Ultrasound and Kinesiology taping where needed.

Each horse is individual and the treatment plan will follow what your horse needs on the day.

Aftercare and management advice will be given.

At least 24 to 48 hours rest following a Session is needed, so no riding, however gentle in hand ground work can be done. Turnout is great.

Sometimes 2 sessions close together 10 days to 2 weeks can really benefit your horse.

Maintenance Bodywork is great for your horse & can help prevent injury so by working together to create a good maintenance plan will keep your horse healthy & happy & able to do the job you require.
